My goal is to create a supportive space to help you develop the tools to keep you at your best. College is a challenging transition for a lot of people. If you're struggling to figure out who you are and how you fit in the world, therapy can be a great way to help. The core of what I do is the therapeutic relationship. A safe, supportive space is the most important thing that allows people to heal. Working together, we can help you to move forward and live the life you want. Taking the first step is the most challenging. To help you see if we're the right match, I'm happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation. I HOPE TO PROVIDE AN UNDERSTANDING, EMPATHETIC SPACE FOR YOU TO BRING YOUR CHALLENGES, WORRIES, OR FEARS. MY CORE BELIEF IS THAT EACH PERSON IS THE EXPERT OF THEIR OWN STORY AND THEREFORE HAS THE POWER WITHIN THEM FOR PRODUCTIVE GROWTH. SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED SOME GENTLE GUIDANCE ALONG THE WAY AND THAT'S WHERE I COME IN! I UTILIZE MULTIPLE THERAPEUTIC TECHNIQUES AND CREATIVE INTERVENTIONS TO TAILOR EACH SESSION TO MEET YOUR UNIQUE NEEDS AT THAT MOMENT. SOME OF THESE TECHNIQUES MAY FOCUS ON WELLNESS, SYMPTOM TRACKING, AWARENESS, THOUGHT REFRAMING, ETC. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT A PERSON'S UNIQUE EXPERIENCES DEEPLY AFFECT THEM AND SO I OFTEN APPROACH COUNSELING THROUGH A TRAUMA-INFORMED LENS. THE THERAPEUTIC PROCESS IS A CONSTANTLY CHANGING JOURNEY THAT REQUIRES DIFFERENT PIECES AT EACH STAGE. I WILL BE WITH YOU ALONG THIS JOURNEY, THINKING OF CREATIVE WAYS TO ADDRESS YOUR NEEDS AND ALWAYS PROVIDING YOU WITH SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT.
My favorite part of helping people is collaborating with my clients. I work together with students to help them reach their goals, get some relief and learn new ways to cope. As a licensed professional counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor, my approach is both nurturing and strengths-based. I believe that every person is unique and has the ability to cope and heal. As your therapist, I will help you strategize to develop treatment goals and offer warm support as we get you there. In doing so, I primarily use IFS (Internal Family Systems- I’m Level 2-trained), but my approach can also be eclectic. I support people with anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem issues, family conflict, substance use disorders, OCD, trauma and so much more. I am non-judgmental, supportive and have a gentle style. If you would like to hear more about my approach and to discuss whether we can work together, I’d love to hear from you.
Hi, I’m Marisol! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 9 years of experience working with teens, young adults, and adults. My background includes having worked in outpatient as well as private practice settings. I most commonly treat anxiety, life transitions, career exploration, ADHD, stress management, parenting support, and depression. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspective but also employ various other therapeutic techniques to help you feel heard, validated, and empowered to make healthy choices. I can offer therapy services in English and Spanish. The stress of demanding lifestyles and the fears and anxiety that arise when life suddenly changes course can have a negative effect on how we live life. Maybe it seems like you’ve tried everything, but nothing seems to work. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, lack of motivation, a recent or upcoming life transition, feeling overwhelmed, trouble putting your thoughts together, or any of the other many barriers we can experience that interfere in a healthy life, please reach out. Together, we will work to help you reach your goals and utilize strategies that best fit your needs.
If you’re feeling less like yourself, with anxious thoughts, trouble sleeping, trouble making decisions, difficulty motivating or just feeling like your new life wasn’t what you expected, I can help get you on a new path towards healing and connection. I help college students with adjustment, stress, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I have training working with those withADHD and associated issues, as well as specialized understanding of the pressure faced by high level collegiate athletes.
Hi! I'm Cat. You've probably been to a therapist before, and it hasn't quite felt right. Or maybe you liked them, but felt disconnected from their approach. Felt that there was a way to work more deeply with your emotions, but your therapist wanted to talk about your thoughts, and give you homework. Felt really bogged down in the details, and the negative, of what's been going on in your life. Haven't really laughed. In our work together, we will privilege the positive. We will laugh. (And likely cry, too.) We'll develop a relationship that will "undo the aloneness" that we feel when our emotions are held within for waaaay too long. Therapy is specifically tailored to the person who is sitting in front of me, and will look different for everyone. Above everything, you will be heard and seen. In addition to therapy, I also offer mindfulness meditation classes to ease the stress of daily living. Reach out - I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
Hello! I’m a trauma-informed psychodynamic therapist with clinical experience covering a wide range of issues in adolescence and adulthood. I am well-versed in working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma recovery/PTSD, grief, relationship and communication issues, intimate partner violence, out-of-control behaviors, problematic substance use, and school/work stress. I will support you in finding deeper feelings of fulfillment, ease, self-alignment, and possibility in your life. I work primarily with college students and people in the years after they leave or graduate college. Changes in social life, feeling a part of something bigger or not, family dynamics, and/or figuring out work can be tough on top of whatever you were already dealing with. The political moment brings feelings of despair, rage, and loneliness. People I work with are deeply affected. You don’t have to figure everything out alone. I work well with individuals of all backgrounds. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and with years of experience in non-monogamous relationship structures, I work with many queer and trans people and people in non-monogamous relationships. I deeply respect the unique lives of the individuals I work with, and I love to witness their progress toward their goals. My therapy approach is psychodynamic - grounded in the understanding that past experiences influence us consciously and unconsciously. I use a strengths-based, whole-person perspective, and I also offer skills and tools using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) depending on your goals for therapy. I work alongside you in a process of exploration and meaning making. You can expect me to be warm, humorous, genuine, and straight-forward. I would love to hear from you.
At Restore relationships we strive to teach the inner connections of life. Much like fungi, humans root themselves through branching off and building new, thriving, fulfilling relationships and connections. How we manage and love in these relationships has a lot to do with how we grew up. Our childhood experiences, traumatic events, and connections with others influence more of our independent being than understood. That’s where our job comes in, helping our clients understand the connections that made a footprint on their beings. By redefining, uncovering, and learning about the relationships in our lives, we begin to shift focus on the most important relationship, the one with ourselves. Restore offers multiple forms of relationship therapy with a depth focus on the family. Therapy is offered by a trained professional specifically educated in marriage and family therapy. Understanding relationships are our most precious gift, it is imperative proper navigation in these relationships is taught. About the owner: Hannah graduated in May of 2019 from Thomas Jefferson University with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) after completing 500 clinical hours. Hannah then served in community mental health as a mobile crisis stabilization therapist providing home/school-based sessions for families in the Northeast. Hannah transitioned into a private group practice in 2021 focusing on couples, individuals, and families. Hannah completed her licensure requirements and received her license in November 2021. Recently Hannah has opened her own practice and is extending hours to accept new clients! A message from Hannah: "Hello, my fellow warriors! I am not your average therapist, I am an unfiltered therapist discussing, supporting, and rallying for all challenges, transitions, and celebrations we undergo in this life! Please join me as we experience the power of the therapeutic relationship while discovering hidden generational patterns, identities, and a whole list of potential possibilities! I look forward to witnessing this journey with you!"
I have a passion for working with people who want to live more fulfilling lives with a more genuine connection to themselves and others. My clients feel more empowered in their actions and relationships instead of letting their unhelpful thoughts and behaviors take over, while growing a more accepting and compassionate perspective towards themselves. It’s always a good session when my clients feel challenged and motivated to work towards their goals between sessions. I believe that much of the therapy work is completed between sessions just as much as it is in the hour minutes we will spend together each week. As a therapist, I’m not afraid of bearing witness to your pain and fear while finding ways to recognize joy and hope. I truly believe in each of my clients’ ability to grow and change. As an Exposure-based therapist, I’ll encourage you to take steps to approach your fears and reclaim your life. As a woman of color, I am sensitive to the ways that identity and mental health intersect and impact each other. I take an action-oriented and direct approach. Therapy is an investment in YOU, and I value all that my clients put into this work. I aim to “work myself out of a job” with each client, because I know that the goal isn’t to stay in treatment forever– it’s to live happier and healthier lives.
At Ebb & Flow we love helping college students navigate this exciting yet stressful time of their lives! I work with most mental health concerns but specialize in trauma recovery and working with LGBTQIA+ identified individuals. Please see my website for more in depth information about me and my work. Note that my fees are listed as my general fee but I offer a sliding scale for those who would have difficulty in being able to pay for sessions given that I don't take insurance and am private pay only.

Hi, I’m Tori — a therapist, theatre-maker, sourdough enthusiast, and firm believer that we’re all just doing our best to make sense of being human. My work is for anyone who’s ever thought, “Am I the drama?” — and then realized, maybe, a little. I love working with women, queer folks, and anyone who doesn’t quite fit into the neat boxes the world tends to hand out. My special heart-space is for college-aged and younger women trying to navigate identity, independence, relationships, and the wild, weird in-between of figuring it all out. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the theatre — helping people tell their stories, find their voices, and sit in the beautiful chaos of being seen. That same creative spirit is what guides me in therapy. Together, we’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and gently (or not-so-gently) challenge the stories that keep you stuck. My background is in trauma and crisis work, with training in CBT, narrative therapy, and evidence-based approaches — but the heart of my work is connection. I want you to feel like you can show up as your whole self here — messy, brilliant, funny, heartbroken, healing, or all of the above. When I’m not in session, I’m usually baking bread, playing with my dogs, or daydreaming about planting too many flowers in my (slightly shady) backyard garden. Therapy with me isn’t about being “fixed” — it’s about being found.
Do emotions take over and exhaust you? Have people marveled at how resilient you are or mentioned your sensitivity as a liability? Maybe you sometimes wonder if you’re the only one who is seeing the hurt and pain all around. It’s likely you have figured out how to adapt to what the world wants you to be. You present the part of yourself that is widely accepted by your community and our social systems, but what about the rest of YOU? We always hear that college is the best days of our lives, but it is also a time a self discovery. That discovery process can be painful, and I can help. I guide young adults to connect to their inherent worth, power, and self-compassion. I work collaboratively with clients and draw from an expansive toolbox including body-oriented practices, talk therapy, and expressive arts. I am well suited to work with clients who are interested in mindfulness meditation and other body-based exercises to be the center of their therapeutic experience. My scope of practice includes anxiety, grief, burn-out, persistent depression, relational stressors, survivors of sexual trauma, and those navigating life as an artist. I align with clients whose identities and values defy society's conventional norms. My practice is trauma-informed, and I am dedicated to an anti-oppression, anti-racist, body positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming and equitable lens.
