I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist, providing support and guidance to LGBTQ+ folks who often don’t see themselves represented in the world around them or reflected in their search for the right-fit therapist. While I regularly help folks work through depression, anxiety, and trauma, we also freely discuss other topics that might not otherwise feel comfortable, including sex, faith, and the impact of diet culture. Nothing is off limits. I also regularly work with neurodivergent folks, especially around the emotional impact of ADHD, and exploring autistic identity. I am licensed in both New York and Wisconsin, and see clients throughout both states through video sessions.

Hi there! My name is Brianna, and I intertwine my experiences as a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, perpetual student, community organizer, and insights from my own mental health journey into my holistic practice. I aim to provide an engaging and warm environment where together we can access tools to help you cope with stressors; set healthy boundaries and improve communication to fuel connection and build relationships; step into your emotions to better regulate them; reprocess past traumatic experiences; and strengthen your attunement and awareness to your body. You have the innate power to heal yourself, I’m simply here to guide and empower you along the way. I use techniques from multiple modalities, such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic experiencing (SE), internal family systems (IFS), intuitive eating, and feminist therapy, while always adding a multicultural and anti-oppressive lens. Together we can collaborate to tailor an approach that best addresses your needs in an environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. I am a New York–based Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with college students and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, adjustment concerns, and life transitions. Many of the students I work with are high-achieving and capable, yet feel stuck in their heads, unsure of themselves, or emotionally reactive under pressure. Therapy can be a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and learn how to respond rather than just react. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded. I combine insight-oriented therapy with skills-based strategies such as emotion regulation, mindfulness, and anxiety management tools that can be used in real-life situations—academics, relationships, family dynamics, and identity development. I tailor therapy to each student’s individual needs, goals, and pace, with attention to how stress and life experiences impact emotional well-being. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in other high-pressure environments, including Division I collegiate athletics and business settings, which informs my understanding of performance stress, identity shifts, and transition periods. In early sessions, my focus is on getting to know you, helping you feel understood, and offering feedback and tools you can apply outside of sessions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for clarity, therapy is a collaborative process, and I look forward to working with you.
I am a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating the complexities of relationships. My initial motivation for pursuing Marriage & Family Therapy was my desire to support and uplift families, particularly in areas where seeking mental health services is still stigmatized. I have experience working with sexual, physical, emotional, racial, and intergenerational trauma as a trauma therapist. I've also had training in Gottman therapy, so I can address your concerns in couples therapy. I am bilingual providing therapy in English as well as Spanish. My practice, which is based on a systems framework, places a strong emphasis on providing a secure and accepting environment where clients can discuss issues, develop relationships, and explore obstacles. I am a strong proponent of collaborative therapy, where clients and I work together to develop objectives and tactics that will lead to positive change. Whether it's dealing with communication problems, handling life changes, or handling interpersonal disputes, my mission is to enable people and families to create happier, healthier relationships. I treat each client's individual background and values with sensitivity and respect in my therapy, having a great appreciation for diversity and cultural nuances.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, and other common mental health concerns for patients across the lifespan. Building trusting, collaborative relationships is central to my practice, as I believe the best outcomes come from working together to create treatment plans that align with each person's goals. Patients are encouraged to be active advocates for their own mental health, while also knowing they have a dedicated partner supporting them in achieving recovery, maintaining stability, and improving their overall well-being. Everyone deserves compassionate, evidence-based mental health care personalized to their unique needs and goals. My role is to be a supportive, collaborative partner who will listen without judgment, celebrate your progress, and help you navigate challenges along the way. Whether you're seeking help for the first time, managing an acute concern, or working to maintain the stability you've achieved, we'll create a plan together that fits your life and empowers you to take an active role in your care. I look forward to helping you build resilience, strengthen your confidence, and work toward lasting mental wellness one day at a time, bringing empathy, collaboration, and a whole-person perspective to every visit so you feel supported, understood, and empowered. Mental health care, in my view, is not only about treating symptoms but also about developing the skills and support needed to manage daily stressors, which are a natural part of life. This means helping patients feel prepared and empowered to navigate challenges without letting them become overwhelming or destabilizing. I am passionate about providing comprehensive care that meets people where they are, whether that includes medication management, psychotherapy, or an integrated combination of both to support long-term mental health and well-being. My approach to care spans the full spectrum of psychiatric acuity, from navigating more acute mental health challenges to maintaining stability and preventing relapse after achieving wellness. Understanding each person's unique experiences, goals, and needs comes first, which I achieve by bringing a compassionate, and individualized approach to every relationship. You can expect a kind, supportive, and collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work together. This approach is also encouraging, offering gentle guidance and honest feedback when needed to support meaningful growth. Lasting change happens through partnership, and you are encouraged to take an active role in your own mental health journey. I understand that making these changes can feel challenging, so my goal is to meet you where you are while helping you build confidence, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward greater stability and independence. Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals, so it feels both realistic and achievable. I began my career in a hospital-based outpatient clinic, where I worked with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and varying levels of psychiatric acuity, along with six-and-a-half years as a registered nurse in pediatric critical care and pediatric neurology/neurosurgery. Caring for children and supporting families through some of life's most difficult moments showed me how deeply mental and physical health are connected, and how essential accessible, competent, individualized, and compassionate mental health care is to overall well-being. These experiences inspired me to pursue psychiatry and continue caring for people in a different way. Today, I have the privilege of working with patients across the lifespan, and I truly enjoy helping individuals at every stage of life navigate unique challenges. I love cooking, hanging with family and friends, and spending time in the garden. I'm also a devoted New York Rangers hockey fan!

I help clients who are trying to manage stress, anxiety, self-esteem or relationship issues and life transitions. Often clients are navigating a change in their lives, such as their educational path, career, or relationships. I support clients through these transitions and provide a safe, therapeutic environment where they can explore their individuality and strengths. Clients are also supported through the process of examining maladaptive patterns of thought and/or behavior with the use of Psychodynamic, Relational and CBT frameworks. These approaches, combined with a strong therapeutic relationship, help to foster an increased awareness and greater sense of empowerment, which can increase overall quality of life.

I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and that meaningful transformations take place in the context of safe and supportive relationships, when we feel seen, understood, and accepted unconditionally. Together, we will process your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to reduce suffering and increase joy, fulfillment, and success. The bottom line: I meet you where you are—with patience, warmth, kindness, and insight. I will assist in identifying and strengthening your own inner resources and wisdom, so we can work more effectively with challenges and pain on the road to a more satisfying life. You don’t have to do this alone.
