It is time for you to heal. Are you wanting a therapist that personally understands neurodivergence and spirituality? My ideal client is curious and open minded. Together, we can figure out how to get from where you are to a more peaceful life. Are you seeking connection, understanding, practical help, and some humor from your therapist? If you want to play an active role in your healing and want to engage in therapy specifically created for you that feels authentic and practical, I’m here for you. Chronic Pain, Anxiety, Trauma, Sleep issues, relationship issues, stress, grief, parenting, and depression are a few of my focus areas. I understand struggle, anxiety, trauma, depression, and chronic pain on a personal level. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, to admit that you aren’t able to heal yourself. This effort to enlist help makes you strong and resilient, not weak. Let’s work together to get you walking down the path that best serves you.

I was a psychiatrist prior to immigrating to the United States in 2001. I currently work as rehabilitation counselor, case manager for people with disabilities and also work as a mental health counselor independently. I am a good listener and passionate about each individual's life journey, self-identity, acculturation, relationship and career path. When we sit down to listen, learn and share different perspectives, we unlock entirely new ways of seeing ourselves. Stress never goes away, but we can adjust how to react toward stress, build resilience for ourselves and healthy relationships with others.

*CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS* It takes strength to ask for help. Each person lives a life full of unique circumstances and challenges. I believe in partnering with my clients to help them develop their potential and find the path that is right for them. My goal is to empower clients to live their best lives. I enjoy seeing the pride my clients have when they've succeeded in reaching their goals. These goals are often hidden in everyday stressors and the challenges we face, and by exploring challenges in a safe environment, I support my clients in unlocking their goals and fulfilling them. Each person, while having unique psychology and brain chemistry, is an active participant in their environment, whether that be a school, work setting, family, or relationship. We are all influenced by others, and we all have the potential to change our lives. With this in mind, depending on individual needs, I help clients to advocate for positive change. Traditional office hours are often inconvenient. That's why I offer appointments between 8 am and 8 pm on weekdays. Please call or email, and I'll work with you to find the best time for your first appointment.

Hi there! I am so excited to sit with you and be present as you engage in the therapeutic process. Taking the walk to receive the care you deserve is often the hardest step, so I am excited to be here with you to cheer you through it! In this life, we face a whirlwind of different scenarios that may create ups and downs in our timeline. And even more often, our internal voice may guide us in a way that sets us back. Together, as we establish our therapeutic relationship, I will work with you to empower you and help you explore how to reach your full potential! As a growing counselor, I have been able to gain a breadth of different experiences throughout my education. Hailing from Western Michigan University, I have had experiences working with individuals with developmental disabilities (behavioral) and was fascinated by people’s different stories and how all of our domains in life affect us in so many different ways! As I embarked on the clinical route, I have had experience working in individual and group counseling settings. As a neurodivergent individual myself, I understand what it’s like to feel those struggles inside and outside of ourselves. I aim to create a space for you to have that voice, the tools, and structural pieces to bring to the outside world. In our work, I often explore from a CBT, DBT, ACT, person-centered, and/or humanistic perspective. I also integrate faith-based counseling, spirituality counseling, as well as mindfulness based practices to help navigate the intersection between physical and mental growth. I work with anyone in our space from ages 13-100+, offering both individual and, now, group services (please reach out for more info on group, if interested)! In this space, my biggest goal is to recognize, ensure, and promote your safety and comfort, and collaboratively create a plan tailored to your success and well-being with the right tools for you. I will act as the facilitator to your growth, where you will always be the expert. My clinical interests involve working with neurodivergent individuals (autism, ADHD), life transitions, self-identity, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger management, boundary-setting/communication, relationship issues, as well as trauma-focused work. I’m excited to meet with you and look forward to what’s to come!

Life can be challenging at times. Sometimes the guidance of a professional can provide you the clarity needed to help you move forward. I work with individuals seeking treatment for depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, substance use, codependency and life transitions as well as with families wanting to improve their relationship with one another. I have 25 years of experience working with families, specifically those dealing with estrangement, substance use and mood disorders. My theoretical framework is grounded in structural and internal family systems, lifespan development and attachment theory; interventions I use are framed within the context of feminist and gender theory. As your therapist I will strive to provide a supportive, accepting and collaborative space that helps you achieve lasting change and resilience. Reach out to me for a free consultation to see how I can help.

For me, I aim to help others transform their lives through compassionate, personalized care (with plenty of humor along the way). I specialize in working with people of color, student-athletes, and those who are neurodivergent. If you’re neurodivergent and reading this, you’ve finally found someone who specializes in and deeply understands your unique perspective. Whether seeking clarity on behaviors, understanding how you interpret the world, or navigating challenges like job functioning and ADHD, I’m here to help. I'm genuinely excited and honored to work with each of my clients and help them reach their goals in life. This isn't just my job, as all my clients will tell you—this is my passion. This is my life. I'm different from any therapist you've ever had, and together, we'll be one of the best teams. I'll be there for you through life's challenges, the ups, the downs, the hardships, the sadness, the happiest moments, the joys, and the promotions 🎉. If you're reading this and choose to work with me, I'm excited to see where we can go together. We'll support and empower you to be the best version of yourself, even if that best version is just not hating yourself anymore. Welcome to the Different Spectrums family! If you're curious about my style and humor, you're welcome to listen to our podcast, which has over forty thousand followers. I enjoy pickup basketball, weightlifting, and yoga outside the therapy room. I'm currently adding golf and fishing to my repertoire. I admit to a penchant for reading half-bought books and comics. To unwind, you'll catch me enjoying Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu comedies. 🏀💪🎓🎣📚 #TherapistExtraordinaire

We understand that asking for help can be scary. You may question what others think or wonder if you really need counseling, but we all get stuck sometimes. You are not alone. Life can become challenging and overwhelming, making you want to escape or avoid external problems or your own needs. Therapy doesn’t solve all of the problems; it gives you a place to explore yourself in the midst of them. It provides support and tools to build your understanding, courage, and resilience – because you deserve healing, wholeness, fulfillment, and peace.

I enjoy working with clients who are seeking support through life’s challenges, particularly women navigating transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and perinatal loss. I also work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Clients who benefit most from my approach are open to exploring their experiences, learning new coping strategies, and fostering personal growth. I provide a compassionate, client-centered space, integrating evidence-based techniques to support healing and resilience. Beyond perinatal mental health, I have extensive experience in helping clients understand and manage mental health conditions while also educating their loved ones to foster supportive relationships. My practice also focuses on effective communication, relationship dynamics, grief and loss, and addiction recovery. My goal is to create a supportive, empowering environment where clients can build resilience, gain insight, and develop practical skills. If you're seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable therapist to support you through life's challenges, I invite you to reach out and begin your journey toward healing and growth. I am a part of a group practice that is 100% women owned and operated called The Flourishing Collective. We value relationships and have a commitment to our own therapy and healing work. We believe this makes us better therapists. We value therapy and consultation. We do not ask our clients to do anything that we are not willing to do ourselves. Are you ready to take the next step on your path to mental wellness? Request an initial consultation and we can talk about what you are looking for in a therapist and see if we are a good fit. The initial consultation is 10 to 15 minutes and is completely free. My ideal client is someone who is ready to do the work- even if you might still be undecided if therapy is for you. I also enjoy working with clients who like to have a bit of fun. Laughing in therapy is important too!
