Hello! I am a psychologist who enjoys supporting college-age individuals in a variety of ways. In this season of life, academics and social activities can be common stressors, in addition to family and career issues. Students may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or other learning differences that affect them inside and outside the classroom. I enjoy brainstorming and helping young people access the resources they need, both on campus and in their community. I take a holistic approach to healthy living, and look closely at individual habits and behaviors. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach to individuals who would like to include spirituality or religion in their work. I meet with clients in person in our Chalfont and Chester Springs locations, as well as virtually in the 40+ states that participate in PsyPact (https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap).

Since you’re here, you probably have questions that you are looking to answer, need guidance and support around your struggles and concerns, desire a safe space for exploration and development, or maybe a combination of these. So, how can I help? I am equipped to conduct psychological assessment to promote improved self-understanding and to help build a plan for support across life. Psychological evaluation offers a clear snapshot of functioning characterized by individual patterns, strengths, and needs across a variety of areas. Or if you are looking to secure a supportive environment that facilitates self-discovery, understanding, processing, and growth, I am well-suited to support those needs as well. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and focuses on the whole person. I also offer a faith-sensitive approach for those who wish to incorporate faith and spirituality into their individual process. Whether you come seeking an evaluation or therapeutic support, I look forward to connecting with you! *Please note: Fees vary depending on therapy vs assessment. I also work between two offices. For now, I am in Chester Springs on Wednesdays with the possibility of Fridays. I am in Chalfont Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays with the possibility of Fridays. Please visit https://thecenterinpa.com or call the front office, 215-491-1119, for more information.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience, co-founder of The Center for Neuropsychology and Counseling, PC., a consultant to clinicians and other professionals, and a professional public speaker. In my work as a psychologist, I believe that a good match between the client and therapist is key to therapeutic success. My approach is very straight-forward and down-to-earth. I help individuals, couples and families build the skills needed to overcome emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and to move through life changes, creating healthier lives. Consulting with and supervising fellow clinicians is a part of my practice that I truly enjoy. I also provide consultation to attorneys, educators and other healthcare providers. As a wellness consultant, I provide webcasts focused on employee and client wellness. My style is conversational, light-hearted and aims to provide practical guidance. Recent topics I have discussed with national and international corporations are coping and thriving during COVID, adjusting to the new work environment, streamlining your space, mind and work, grief and loss, anxiety and financial decisions, coping with the holidays, and stress management. Dr. Carson-Sacco has the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). As of January 2025, she can see patients virtually in 40 plus states. Has something terrible happened recently, like an assault, an accident, or a sudden loss? Is being away from home bringing up things from the past that you thought were behind you? Are you struggling to focus, keep up with assignments, or sleep through the night without nightmares? Maybe it feels hard just to leave your dorm or show up at all. Being in college can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re carrying the weight of something painful. I specialize in trauma therapy for college students who are ready for support but don’t want to spend every session rehashing what happened. We’ll use tools that help your mind and body feel calmer, even when it’s hard to talk about it. The kind of therapy I offer helps rewire the brain, which can change how your trauma affects you, how you feel about yourself, and how you experience the world around you. I’m an inclusive therapist who welcomes students of all identities and backgrounds. You’ll be met as you are, without judgment. If any of this sounds familiar, reach out for a free consultation. We’ll talk through what you’re looking for and see if it feels like a good fit.

As a relational, attachment-based therapist, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a powerful vehicle for change. As a systemic therapist, I also believe that the systems you’re part of matter, and that your experience can’t be understood outside of those systems. You may have had the experience of “getting” something on a logical level, yet finding that knowledge to be inadequate or insufficient. I believe real change has to be felt, not just rationalized. So I focus on creating a relationship where it’s safe to take relational risks and have new experiences that create change on a deeper level. Within the relationship, the work can take many forms. We may start by looking into your past, as I believe the past is important in understanding the present, and that it’s useful for helping you understand your attachment style and relational patterns. And if you’re one of the many neurodivergent people who have experienced trauma, we can draw on Internal Family Systems/parts work and Emotion-Focused Therapy to help heal your younger self. My goal is to always meet you where you are, and sometimes that might mean taking a more practical, skills-based approach. This could mean developing strategies to manage overwhelm, big emotions, and struggles with organization, time-blindness and prioritization. For example, you may be feeling like you know what you need to do yet still can’t get it done. Here I also draw on my background as an ADHD coach, and use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help you understand the emotions that may be getting in your way, see the different parts that create internal conflicts for you, and change how you relate to these parts.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania (and all 40+ PSYPACT participating states). The current list of PSYPACT participating states can be found here: https://psypact.site-ym.com/page/psypactmap I obtained my doctoral degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I received intensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy. I work with adults and teenagers with mood and anxiety disorders, relationship challenges, and eating disorders. I specialize in therapy for eating disorders and balance CBT for eating disorders with practices of intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES). If you have a difficult relationship with food or exercise, you are not alone in this journey. My goal as a therapist is to provide you with both support and skills. It is not easy to make changes to the way you cope or how you show up in relationships! If you want to understand where or why you are getting stuck, please reach out for support, and know that recovery is always possible!

Hi! I’m Dr. Ana, a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania with over 10 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with support, compassion, and practical tools. I currently offer virtual therapy sessions throughout PA and am accepting new clients. Life often moves quickly, bringing highs and lows and everything in between. In the midst of the “busy-ness” and challenges, it can often be hard to pause and take care of ourselves. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and deepen our understanding of who we are so that we can live with more meaning and purpose. I truly believe that therapy can be helpful for anyone. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and less alone. You don’t have to go through this alone. I’d be honored to support you on your journey. Feel free to reach out with questions or to schedule a consultation!

Many of the students I work with are used to functioning well despite feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally worn down. Some are struggling with trauma, difficult family relationships, or recurring patterns in their relationships that they don't fully understand. Others are trying to manage ADHD while balancing school, work, research, or family responsibilities. I'm also interested in working with students who are trying to make sense of themselves in the context of the world around them. That might include questions about identity, culture, community, or the emotional impact of social and political events. If you're someone who feels deeply affected by what's happening around you, therapy can be a place to think through those experiences rather than carrying them by yourself. My approach is collaborative and guided by curiosity. I don't assume there are quick answers or a single right way to do therapy. Sometimes our work is about understanding the patterns that keep repeating in your life. Other times it's about dealing with whatever is most pressing right now. Most of the time, it's both.

Many of us wrestle to find hope in our lives, move forward, or just make it through the day. Depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and loss can take away motivation, causing struggle and suffering. This can change. Perhaps you're determining which life path to take or are dealing with the wounds of past trauma, abuse, or painful experiences. You don't have to carry this weight alone. I provide an unbiased, nonjudgmental space to explore what is hindering you and overcome obstacles in healthy, supportive ways.

I'm excited you're here! Therapeutic relationships can be an incredibly powerful resource for accessing your truth, increasing self-love, and healing through connection. My aim as a therapist is to foster a safe, nonjudgmental space that supports clients in divesting from narratives of self-pathology, rewriting their stories in empowering ways, and in feeling more grounded and more joyful in their daily lives. My practice is rooted in a social justice frame and a belief that symptoms are most often related to the trauma of lived experiences of oppression and discrimination, not due to internal failing. I work with clients who need help managing anxiety, exploring identity, managing life transitions, managing symptoms of trauma, and undoing internalized white supremacy. I offer a politicized lens and believe in the connection between relational healing and collective liberation. I intend for therapy to be an affirming, healing and celebratory space. For those pursuing gender affirming surgeries or HRT, I'm happy to provide letters for your insurance/surgeon. I identify as White, queer, trans, nonbinary, fat, and neurodiverse (ADHD). As of August 2025, I have availability for virtual clients. Please feel free to reach out - I’d love to chat about potentially working together!
