I am currently scheduling patients for both in-person (PA/NJ) and telehealth (PA/NJ/MA) appointments. I welcome patients who are looking for medication management, therapy, a second opinion, or any combination of the above. My interests include diagnostic clarification of mood/anxiety/attention disorders, evaluation of young adults who may be seeking help for the first time, and treatment of substance use disorders that often present with other common diagnoses. I offer comprehensive treatment, taking into consideration not only whether a patient has a medical illness, but also discussing lifestyle, substance use, relationships and other factors that could be affecting an individual's mental health. When indicated, I may recommend the use of psychiatric medications in conjunction with therapy.

Guessing your way through life is stressful. I work with college students who are realizing that there's a lot of things that they weren't taught in school and are ready to take control of their future. Now that you have more freedom and choice, you also have to figure out what to do with it. Who are you? Who do you want to be? What do you want to do with your life? How do you get there? If you're starting out college, you might be trying to get yourself into a routine, make new friends, navigate the campus dating scene, decide on a major, or handle the stress of midterms/finals. Maybe you're past that part of your college experience, but you still haven't found a good solution to those problems: still putting off studying, dealing with friend drama, having ups and downs with dating, etc. And if you're getting towards the end of your college experience, you might be worried out about what you're going to do after college and what that will look like. You don't need to figure all that out on your own. I help people get to the root of their problems so that they can understand themselves and others better. If you can understand your past and unlearn things that aren't helping you anymore, then you can replace them with healthy ways to move forward with confidence.

College can be rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you're adjusting to campus life, feeling stressed or burned out, struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, eating concerns, dissociation, low self-worth, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to navigate it alone. At Sacred Forest Counseling, I strive to provide an unconditionally accepting space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you. I also offer a unique nature-informed approach to counseling for students who find healing and clarity through connecting with nature. From my experience and current research from the EcoPsychology field, it can be said that healing often happens when we slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and draw wisdom from the natural world. Whether we meet outdoors or virtually, therapy is always tailored to your individual needs and goals. I have experience working with undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students and understand the unique pressures that can come with balancing academics, relationships, work, and personal well-being. If you're wondering whether we'd be a good fit, I'd love to connect. Reach out today to see if Sacred Forest Counseling is the right place to support your journey.

I have a decade-plus history of helping individuals experiencing issues ranging from general anxiety to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. These patients can vary from people who have experienced acute traumatic events, suffered from health-related problems, dealt with adverse childhoods, or are struggling with the problems of everyday life. My training allows me to tailor my approach to the individual whether I am working with a young person navigating life transitions or an adult who has experienced a traumatic event. I am as comfortable reviewing CBT coping skills as I am guiding individuals on ways to regain trust and meaning.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates specializing in medication management for a variety of mental health conditions in adults ages 18+, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, PMDD, bipolar disorder, and more. I offer a warm, empathic, non-judgmental and collaborative treatment approach. My philosophy is that using psychotherapy, coping skills, and healthy lifestyle choices combined with psychiatric medications often result in the best treatment outcomes. Offering HIPAA-compliant virtual Telehealth Psychiatric appointments for patients located in PA and NJ. Wellness is your birthright; you are already worthy. This means you are worthy of a mental health practitioner who will partner with you, support you, and equip you to live the life of wellness you believe you are capable of, but may be struggling to cultivate alone. When clients leave sessions with me they can expect to feel heard, seen, that they aren’t alone, and they have options and practical steps reflective of their uniqueness to incorporate in their life before the next session. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has spent the past 15 years partnering with people on their journey to wellness. I specialize in supporting those who identify as women between the ages of 18-65 who desire informed, compassionate, creative, yet practical support to live well even as they manage trauma, sexual assault/abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, and loss, workplace or career challenges, relationships, and identity shifts and changes. I’ve worked at several colleges and universities across the United States, as far west as Spokane, WA, north as Buffalo, New York, and as local as center city Philadelphia, leading wellness programming for students on campus and counseling services. I earned a BA in Human Development and Family Science, an MS in Mental Health Counseling, and upon moving back to the Philadelphia, PA area knew I wanted to start a private practice, which I did in 2018.
