Everyone has things in life they want or need to do. As an occupational therapist, I believe that satisfaction stems from engaging in activities that align with one's values. Therefore, my work focuses on guiding individuals to engage in occupations they find meaningful; These could include adopting healthier lifestyle habits, enhancing organization skills, excelling in academic or professional settings, building social connections, managing stress, and more. Through a collaborative and conversation-based approach, I work with clients to identify goals, harness inner strengths, and overcome obstacles to making meaningful change. I work with individuals seeking support in areas such as attention, motivation, sensory processing, relationship building, and time management. While I work with people of all ages, I have a particular passion for supporting college students and young professionals as they navigate the complexities of adulthood and discover their unique paths to fulfillment. My practice is guided by my doctoral work on motivation and resiliency and prioritizes trauma processing to facilitate healing & engagement. I strive to create a warm environment where clients feel accepted and understood. Wherever you’re at on your journey, it would be my honor to help you to discover greater meaning and satisfaction in your life.

Hi! I’m Dr. Ana, a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania with over 10 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with support, compassion, and practical tools. I currently offer virtual therapy sessions throughout PA and am accepting new clients. Life often moves quickly, bringing highs and lows and everything in between. In the midst of the “busy-ness” and challenges, it can often be hard to pause and take care of ourselves. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and deepen our understanding of who we are so that we can live with more meaning and purpose. I truly believe that therapy can be helpful for anyone. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and less alone. You don’t have to go through this alone. I’d be honored to support you on your journey. Feel free to reach out with questions or to schedule a consultation!

I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice where I see adults and adolescents. I am here to support and encourage you to reach life goals that will enhance your overall feelings of peace, joy and belonging. I provide a safe and nurturing environment that enhances the therapeutic process and encourages my clients to identify their strengths and embrace positive change. My therapy model is based on Aaron T. Beck's development of cognitive behavioral therapy. This approach identifies the distortions in our way of thinking that drives our emotions and behaviors. By identifying distortions and redefining them we can than choose an emotion and behavior and feeling that fits our new way of thinking. My goal is to provide a therapy model that incorporates mind, body and soul wellness. I am presently accepting new patients and I am credentialed through most of the major insurance plans. Please reach out by email when possible.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, particularly experiences related to family of origin and attachment. While I work with adults of all ages, I have a special interest in supporting emerging adults - including college, graduate, and medical students - as they manage the emotional and relational challenges that can arise during these stages of life. I support clients in addressing current life challenges while also seeking to answer questions about why these challenges exist in the first place. I do this through a collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed approach that blends deeper insight with practical support. Drawing from psychodynamic and attachment-based work, along with CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, I help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, and build skills that support meaningful, lasting change. Starting therapy can feel uncertain, and it’s completely normal to have questions or mixed emotions. Please know you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to reach out to see if we would be a good fit.

I provide clinically grounded support to individuals, couples, and people of all backgrounds navigating relationship or personal challenges. My approach combines practical tools with a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore needs, strengthen connection, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I meet people where they are and guide progress in a way that works for them. I take a direct, down to earth style and incorporate humor when it fits, helping you feel comfortable, understood, and motivated to make real change. I focus on both your present concerns and the deeper experiences that have shaped you. In a supportive, collaborative relationship, we’ll explore patterns with curiosity and understanding, supporting your natural capacity for growth and greater self-awareness. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in school-based, home-based, outpatient, IOP, MST, and partial hospitalization settings. I have worked with juvenile probation & men at a state prison for six years, addressing challenges such as sexual and violent offenses, domestic abuse, substance use, and related behaviors. Many of the clients I see are dealing with some form of anxiety, depression, adjustment-related issue, or life transition. Most often, my clients are young adults who are having problems in interpersonal relationships, such as feeling extremely anxious in social situations, having difficulty finding or maintaining healthy relationships, struggling to communicate effectively with others, or experiencing uncertainty what their wants and needs are in a relationship. I have a great deal of experience working with students. My internship and postdoc were both in a university counseling center, and afterward, I was a psychology professor for a number of years. In these roles, I worked with both undergraduate and graduate students. Therefore, I'm very familiar with the challenges that students can face. Whatever it is that is getting in the way, I can help! I utilize evidence-based approaches and methods that have been proven to work. However, because there is no single approach that works for every person across all situations, I practice in a way that will be responsive to your unique needs. We may work on identifying problematic thoughts, putting new behaviors into action, or learning how to better identify, express, and manage your emotions. If your concern is relationship-related, we will explore your relationship patterns, identify factors that are having a negative impact on your relationships, and help you develop the skills to find and maintain healthy, fulfilling relationships. Regardless of the specifics, I place a prime emphasis on providing a safe, supportive environment that is free from judgment. My style has been described as highly collaborative.

We are who we are for a lot of reasons, maybe we will never know most of them. But even if we can't choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. -Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower This quote has always resonated with me as a clinician; there are many aspects of our lives, our stories, our families, and our circumstances that we may not have chosen and may not be able to change. However, there ARE many ways of processing these very important aspects of who we are. Therapy is a wonderful and fulfilling way to do just that. I'm glad you're here. I currently maintain an all-virtual private practice and provide therapy to both individuals and couples. I am comfortable with a variety of presenting concerns and have a specialty focus of relational/couples therapy. I have completed Level II training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, an evidenced-based approach to couples therapy. I'd love to chat with you to learn about what's bringing you to seek therapy and to see if we'd be a good fit. Together, we will create a non-judgemental therapeutic environment with warmth, safety, support, and a sprinkle of humor. My practice is culturally- and trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming and I have been seeing clients for over 7 years.

I help individuals struggling to have power over themselves and their decisions. I also help couples and families who are struggling to maintain trust and connection in their relationships. Sometimes we feel stuck in a vicious cycle or pattern of behaviors that we need extra help interrupting. I help empower clients to help themselves, break the cycle and create a new pattern on their own terms.

*** I am offering options for both in-person and teletherapy sessions *** I am a licensed psychologist currently in private practice. Prior to private practice, I worked in college counseling settings, a center for the treatment of substance use disorders, and at the Center for Psychotherapy Research at The University of Pennsylvania. I work with individuals, who are struggling with a variety issues, including: • Anxiety • Depression • Relationship Problems • Life Transitions • Social Anxiety • Adjustment Difficulties • Substance Abuse • Trauma • ADHD • Chronic Pain • OCD • Low Self-esteem • Loneliness • Anger Issues • Infertility • Divorce • Life Coaching • Sports Performance Whatever is troubling you, I am available to discuss treatment options and can work with you to clarify and address your concerns. At EmBODY Confidence, we support neurodivergent women and teens who struggle with eating disorders, body dysmorphia, anxiety, low self-esteem, and emotional dysregulation. Our approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and self-understanding, helping you feel truly at home in your body without shame or apology. You want to trust your emotions, take up space, eat without guilt, and show up fully in your life. We are here to help you get there with compassion, clarity, and courage. Together, we explore the deeper roots of your struggles, build awareness of the systems that created them, and develop tools for lasting change. We work collaboratively, because you know yourself and your body best. We are a fat-positive, anti-diet, LGBTQIA+, and gender-affirming practice aligned with Health at Every Size® (HAES). EmBODY Confidence is neurodivergent-affirming and committed to creating a space where every body, identity, and mind is welcomed and safe. Research shows that neurodivergent women and LGBTQIA+ individuals are more likely to experience eating disorders or disordered eating patterns than cisgender individuals. Unfortunately, traditional treatment models often fail to meet their unique needs. Our work bridges that gap with affirming, specialized care designed specifically for you. You do not have to do this alone. Healing is possible and you are absolutely worthy of it.
