Hi, I’m a Columbia University–trained clinician with 20 years of experience working with college learners in a range of roles—including psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and professor. I specialize in supporting young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity development, and even high-performance areas like academics and sports. I bring both clinical depth and real-world understanding to the therapy room—and what makes me a little different is that I genuinely get the college experience. I’ve spent my career in it, and I know how to blend evidence-based strategies with humor, warmth, and a nonjudgmental presence that helps clients feel both seen and empowered.

College can be a great time to start exploring relationships and even making long-term bonds. However, the stresses of college life can challenge even the most loving of relationships. I assist couples to identify communication and intimacy issues that prevent them from connecting both physically and emotionally. There is no size fits all. Thus, I seek to collaborate with my clients to co-create a therapeutic experience that creates the trust necessary to do deeper work.
Hello! I'm so glad you're here. Finding support is often a difficult first step in any healing journey. Congratulations on making it this far! I use a creative and relational approach to find the appropriate fusion of therapeutic interventions to support your needs and work through identified challenges. I have significant interest and expertise in relationship work (specifically healthy/unhealthy relationship practices that can be applied to romantic, platonic, or familial relationships). You don't have to figure it all out on your own! Students I work with are empathic and intelligent and are feeling pain about their personal lives and the world at large. They have difficulty asking for help as they are often the person others turn to for assistance. Distress can show up as failing classes, procrastination, insomnia, sadness, lack of focus, irritability, anxiety and feelings of hopelessness about the future. In our work together, we will identify sources of distress, resolve conflicts that are holding you stuck, and learn, practice and integrate coping strategies. We will tap into inner resources--including intuition, humor, beauty and resilience--to access healing and joy. Our work will enable you to become more grounded, self-aware, confident, and self-directed. I studied English and Environmental Studies at SUNY Albany and Williams College. I received my Masters in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University and my Masters in Social Work from New York University. My professional experience includes over 15 years working in academia, including serving as the director of a university women's and gender resource center, adjunct professor and academic advisor, in addition to my work as a psychotherapist. I am a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America and am a climate-aware and trauma-informed therapist. Many of my current clients are dealing with trauma and social anxiety. They often feel isolated and struggle with initiating and building healthy connections and friendships with others. Therapy can help you uncover choices and social skills you may not even be able to imagine now. My studies in creative arts therapies, mythology, Tarot, dreams and archetypes help you see your life stories with fresh perspective and flexibility. Students who work best with me approach therapy as partnering with a warm, compassionate, knowledgeable guide who can help them access intuitive, academic, physical and practical resources. We weave together a unique net of strategies that you can tap into as needed for coping with obstacles and stressors in your life.

I support adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and periods of transition that may leave them feeling disconnected or unsure of their next steps. While I have a particular passion for supporting women of color, I work with clients from a variety of backgrounds who are looking to build confidence, strengthen boundaries, and create a greater sense of belonging and connection in their lives. Together, we'll help you reconnect with yourself, your values, and the relationships that matter most. I work with clients experiencing loneliness, social disconnection, or uncertainty during periods of transition. Whether you're navigating changes in relationships, adjusting to a new stage of life, or hoping to build deeper connections, we can work together to cultivate a stronger sense of belonging and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. Prior to private practice, I worked with youth and families in the foster care system, an experience that deepened my appreciation for resilience, community, and the importance of supportive relationships. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I specialize in supporting women of color navigating anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and life transitions that leave them feeling disconnected from themselves, others, or their sense of direction. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences with curiosity rather than criticism. I primarily draw from cognitive behavioral approaches while tailoring treatment to each client's unique experiences, values, and goals. Together, we will identify patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress, challenge ways of thinking that no longer serve you, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help clients build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and move through life with greater clarity, self-trust, and intention.

When life feels unpredictable or overwhelming, therapy offers a space to pause and find your footing. Balancing academic pressure, family expectations, and questions about identity can feel especially heavy. I work with students navigating transitions such as starting a new school, adjusting to college, graduating, or finding their place in demanding environments. Therapy with me is a supportive, judgment-free space where you can openly explore stress, identity, relationships, past experiences, and self-doubt. Together, we’ll build coping tools, confidence, and self-compassion, so you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

I specializes in supporting adults dealing with challenges such as anxiety, procrastination, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. Together, you'll learn effective and practical skills using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For deeper healing, we can use Brainspotting to access and process deeply rooted beliefs and trauma, often beyond the reach of traditional talk therapy. My practice is located in New York and is completely remote.
Every person is unique, each with their own narratives and perspectives. I subscribe to the belief that a new therapy is constructed for each person I work with. From the outset of treatment on through a process of self-discovery— challenging circumstances, past traumas, and negative belief structures lay the groundwork for seeds of strength and growth. All individuals possess the capacity to change their lives and I will work with you to process adversity and conflict into resilience and peace. I like to tailor my method to the person sitting across from me, though I do specialize in an approach which encompasses psychodynamic perspectives and behavioral techniques. These tend to help clients explore unconscious patterns and enactments while offering practical tools for immediate relief from issues such as anger, grief, depression, and anxiety. In treatment, I am a human first and a therapist second. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for you to explore the vulnerabilities which lie beneath anxious manifestations. I am warm, curious, direct, and I bring a sense of humor to discussions focused around how you see your multifaceted self in the myriad roles you inhabit.
