With the many transitions that life brings can come many challenges. It can be difficult to navigate these challenges alone and reaching out for support is a significant step in working towards healing. My goal is to help you navigate your healing journey using compassion, empathy, creativity, and humor. I have worked in a variety of settings including the department of corrections, psychiatric inpatient hospitals, and in an after school setting. Throughout experience I have worked with many different clients including individuals experiencing challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, grief, work stress, career transitions, spirituality, and family life. I approach my work with the mindset that the client is the expert in their treatment. In my work I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness Based Interventions. I aim to provide a welcoming, supportive, inclusive, and judgement free space for you to process any struggles and work towards your goals. I was a client before I became a practitioner and still utilize my own therapist from time to time. I do on-line telehealth. I encourage my clients to get cozy with a coffee, tea, favorite blanket, hoodie, and animal in lap if applicable. The online process is very convenient and easy to do. We are all swimming in this pool of life and suffering is inevitable, my job is to help you navigate it in a way that you feel supports your best self. Therapy is only as good as your relationship with your therapist, so if you feel like you resonate with me, send me an email.
At The Juniper Center, we understand that it takes courage to ask for help. But we also understand asking for help can be hard. It can feel daunting to share your life with someone you don’t know. If you’re considering therapy – whether to improve your mental health, restore a relationship, adjust to a life transition, or to recover from a trauma – finding the right therapist is the first step on your path to achieving your goals. We’re here to help make this process as safe and comfortable as possible for you.

Hey there, college students. Yes, you with the overloaded Canvas dashboard and the existential crisis in your “notes” app. If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, distracted, or like you're one group project away from losing it, you're not alone. I'm a therapist who gets it because I’ve lived it. I was the first in my family to go to college, juggling 40+ hour work weeks, social anxiety, and undiagnosed ADHD, all while trying to decode APA citations like they were ancient hieroglyphics. Oh, and I became pregnant during undergrad, which made me the proud owner of both a baby bump and student loan debt at the same time. So when I say I understand the pressure, the burnout, the identity crisis, and the late-night spirals… I truly mean it. I’ve sat in those same classrooms, fought those same battles (both emotional and financial), and still somehow figured out how to move forward with compassion, humor, and plenty of coffee. Now, I help college students just like you navigate all the “life stuff” that no syllabus ever prepares you for: Managing anxiety and stress Coping with ADHD Building confidence and social skills Balancing school, work, relationships, and your mental health Processing identity, life transitions, and unexpected curveballs Whether you’re barely hanging on or just want a space to breathe and figure things out, I'm here. Therapy with me is judgment-free, human, and yes, sometimes even funny (because if we can’t laugh about the chaos of adulthood, what are we even doing?). Let’s talk. Your mental health deserves as much attention as your GPA.
I am an independent clinician working with teens, young adults and adults. I enjoy working with those enrolled in college as it is a unique time of life. What once felt simple can feel very different with independent living and high expectations. I am able to serve those in Indiana and Kansas through telehealth and in person in my office in Northwest Indiana.
At CCH we specialize in Early Intervention and Outpatient Therapy. We provide mental health and substance use services for ages 13 and older.

Dave Kyrie has dedicated his career to the service of others. With 18 years in healthcare, he has worked in a variety of settings including trauma, intensive care, behavioral health, surgical recovery, and deployed medicine with the US Army. He has seen how the challenges and tragedies of life can affect people, and his dedication to help others to recover in a hospital changed to a passion to collaborate with patients to improve the quality of their life. This passion led him to pursue education as a PMHNP where he focused primarily on adult and adolescent mood disorders, traumatic response, and recovery from substance use disorders. Dave believes that all individuals have inherent value and are deserving of help and opportunities to improve their life. Dave works collaboratively with adults and adolescents, aged 12 years and up who experience symptoms such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, difficulty with sleep, substance use disorders, and other behavior disruptions.

Choosing to complete higher education is not only stressful, it's confusing. It's the first time you're dipping your toe into adulthood, and having to navigate the world on your own for the first time. Your mental health is the most important thing to maintain while in school. I, too, had to have my own therapist throughout my 6 years of university, so don't think you're the only one. Depression, anxiety, relational issues, making friends, meeting deadlines for your homework: the list of struggles goes on and on. You don't have to hold it in and carry it alone. Let's work on making you the best version of yourself while you pursue carving out an amazing life for yourself.
