I am a licensed clinical and school psychologist who has close to 30 years of experience working with clients of all ages. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress management, school and learning problems, family conflict, and relationship problems. I see every client as unique and tailor treatment to fit the needs of each individual. My approach is collaborative and eclectic. I integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques into treatment including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Expressive Arts.

I have been working in the field since 2013 and from my experience working in hospital and residential treatment centers, I became interested in addressing trauma. Trauma can come in many forms, has an impact on all of our systems. Trauma is on a continuum of stress and includes severe stress as well as stress over an extensive period of time. Sometimes, we're not aware of this and it can show up as anxiety. I offer EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Hypnotherapy. Life has a way of showing us where our work is and I am honored to have been a part of many people's recovery.

Denver Men’s Therapy is where men come to get unstuck. Our team of highly trained and skilled therapists specialize in working with men and those who love them. We provide therapy, in person and over secure video, specifically geared towards treating men who are experiencing depression and anxiety, healing from trauma, working to overcome addictions, dealing with issues in relationships, and anger issues.

Over the years, she has sought out additional training to better support her clients, including EMDR (both basic and advanced trainings), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Circle of Security Parenting. She is also endorsed in Colorado as an Infant Mental Health Specialist. While her background is rooted in research and evidence-based practice, she believes therapy is ultimately about human connection. I studied Contemplative Psychology and the Hakomi method. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and an Eating Psychology Coach. A need to always look put-together and strong can be destructive and exhausting. It seems like the harder you try, the harder it gets. The pressure to appear “all good” invalidates the emotions we all experience as human beings. Living in a culture of toxic positivity only reinforces the idea that negative thoughts and feelings are somehow inherently unhealthy. In therapy, outdated notions are challenged and you will not be invalidated for feeling…anything. Many of my clients have internalized beliefs about who they should and shouldn’t be- and most of these beliefs are false. Therapy is a non-judgmental space where you can truly express yourself without fear of being judged or shamed. Many of the clients I work with identify with being anxious, perfectionists who want better relationships. I also work with adults who know or think they may be on the autism spectrum. Overall, therapy can be great tool to get a better grip on life as well as for treating a specific diagnosis.. Whatever your background, your struggles, your ambitions, we will work together.
