I'm so glad you're here. I specialize in counseling teen girls & young women who are struggling with the impact of past trauma(emotional, sexual, physical, relational, spiritual, etc), symptoms of anxiety, depression, major life changes, low self-worth, and challenging relationships. I am passionate about supporting young women as they grow toward a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, and their relationships, helping them grow in confidence and to embrace more fully who they were made to be. I help individuals better manage stress, more clearly understand and navigate their emotions, set healthier boundaries, calm their inner critic, build resilience, and strengthen relationships. I have been supporting adolescents, adults, & families in the mental health field for 20+ years and have advanced training in trauma-focused treatment strategies, including EMDR (in training) and Brainspotting. I also integrate ISF-informed and parts work and somatic interventions. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, self-doubting, or struggling with people-pleasing, perfectionism, boundaries, or relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you. You were made to live whole and free with authentic confidence, peace, and joy. If you’re ready to start your journey, I’d be honored to support you!

Welcome to Greever Counseling! It has always been a deep conviction of ours that each and every person has immense value, meaning, and potential. Sometimes, life has a way of beating us down, until we no longer can see this within ourselves. Sometimes, we have been so hurt that we hide, avoid, lose hope, or give up…Sometimes, we run to coping patterns that ultimately leave us even more disconnected and isolated from ourselves and others. It is within this space where we want to welcome you. You don’t have to be perfect here. Often, it is within the context of brokenness where beauty and growth can occur. We take this work as a sacred opportunity to meet you, exactly as you are, and to help you find your path towards freedom and healing. It’s not an easy journey, but it is so worth it. Greever Counseling specializes in PTSD (trauma), Anxiety, Sex or Porn Addiction, Intimacy Issues, Couples Work, and Men’s Issues. If you are a psychological theory nerd (as we are), we operate from an integrative viewpoint which includes Relational Psychodynamic and Interpersonal Neurobiology, as well as processing tools within Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Mindfulness. Ultimately, we believe that the starting point for healing is found within the context of a deeply authentic and relational encounter with another.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I help children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate severe anxiety, depression, life transitions, phobias, grief, gender or identity issues, boundaries and self-care, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. Whether you're a teenager struggling with self-esteem or self-harm thoughts, an adult working through a major life change, or a couple looking to rebuild connection, this is a nonjudgemental space where you are heard, understood, and supported while exploring your own desires, motivations, and needs. For teens, I offer the tools to manage the pressures of school, home, and everyday life. For adults, we work together to untangle the weight of anxiety, depression, stress, and transitions so you can craft a clear path toward your goals. For couples, the focus is on rediscovering what it means to be a team, navigating conflict resolution and codependency, and building the communication skills and trust to get there. No matter what you’re facing, I believe every person has the capacity not only to overcome challenges but to truly thrive. My role is to be a guide as you do exactly that – provide the environment where you can better yourself and shed unhealthy patterns. If you’ve found yourself encountering obstacles and seeking ways to move forward, please reach out today. My work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a genuine belief in your ability to grow, in a safe, collaborative, and calm environment. Life moves fast, and the thoughts that come with it can quickly become overwhelming, which is why I help you slow down, untangle what's weighing on you, and build self-awareness so you can move forward with clarity and intention. Depending on your needs, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and person-centered approaches. Each method serves a different purpose: CBT and person-centered therapies help you explore different parts of yourself with insight and compassion; DBT and IFS offer practical skills and tools to grow while gaining personal insights. No matter the approach, you can always expect warmth, directness, and yes, humor. This is a space where you lead, and where we can go deep when the moment calls for it. Whether you're working through unhealthy habits in life, resolving negative patterns in a relationship, navigating personal challenges, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, the goal is always the same: to meet you where you are, uncover the conflicts holding you back, and help you get where you want to be. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own experience with family therapy, where I learned about myself and how to build healthier connections with the people closest to me. In college, I volunteered for 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, and found real meaning in being able to offer that same kind of safe, supportive space for others. These experiences led me to Florida State University, where I earned both a Master of Science and an Education Specialist in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology and a double major in Business Management. That combination of lived experience and academic grounding shaped the kind of therapist I set out to become: one who brings both empathy and honest guidance into every session. Authentic connection and meaningful conversation are at the heart of this work, and I look forward to walking alongside you in yours. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me running, getting lost in a good book, playing board games, discovering new music, or sitting down to a great meal. Staying curious and continuing to learn are values I carry into every area of my life, including my work with you.
Welcome! Thank you for being here! You may be finding that being a student is one of the most stressful periods of your life. I believe that meaningful change begins with acceptance, self-compassion, and a safe space to explore life's challenges. My therapeutic approach is centered on helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves while recognizing and building upon their inherent strengths and resilience. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to move toward their goals at their own pace. Together, we work to identify patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools that foster healing, growth, and lasting change. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to meet each client's unique needs. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive and behavioral approaches, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and strengthen adaptive beliefs. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or seeking greater self-understanding, I am committed to supporting you with compassion, collaboration, and respect throughout your therapeutic journey.
Your struggles do not have to define who you are or determine the quality of your life. I am a licensed professional counselor and since 2003, I have helped individual adults address trauma, anxiety and depression. Through a tailor-made treatment plan, we break down the process into manageable steps. Together, we will tackle what is robbing you of contentment and vitality. I also help people explore their sexual orientation and gender identities. The goal is to help you find self-acceptance, resiliency, and an opportunity to celebrate sexual and gender diversity. I utilize approaches like EMDR, Gestalt Therapy, DBT, and mindfulness practices to deliver evidence-based, experiential treatment In time, the commitment and work we do will be an immeasurable gift that will have long reaching impacts you may not even know are possible.
I look forward to meeting you, hearing your story , and making sense of all that ails you. I feel that medications can provide relief for biological psychiatric conditions, but most of the long term relief comes from working through and reworking unhealthy behavioral patterns. Treating Psychiatric conditions is an art that requires balancing the medical treatments with looking at unconscious maladaptive behaviors. Once patterns are identified, the work we do will lead to change. I take the approach of meeting clients where they are at and working together in a relational model to reprocess and work through trauma. I have 25 years of experience treating all psychiatric conditions in men and women across the lifespan. I have specialized in women's issues, including mood disorders at the onset of menses, eating disorders, medication management during pregnancy, grief issues around infertility, menopause, and trauma. I enjoy working with clients who have struggled to get optimal treatment. My approach is to get to know you, your developmental history, and current life stressors. I also assess biologic contributors and genetics. This combined understanding of you can guide more effective treatment recommendations.
