I am a bilingual psychologist-English & Mandarin and have expertise in treating Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Sexual and Gender Identity Exploration, Cultural Adjustment & Life Transition, Self-Esteem & Self Criticism, Relationship Issues, & Cultural Identity. I specialize in working with ethic minorities, immigrants, refugees, people in the LGBTQA+ community, as well as international individuals.

I believe people are creative, spontaneous, & insightful. I see people as a whole person within the context of their family of origin, psychological state, & Socio-cultural environment. I use insight-oriented & experiential approaches to facilitate people’s critical thinking & reflection. I utilize evidence-based theories and build a safe & collaborative relationship, where people can be creative and authentic. My therapy goals are to assist people in finding a solution, overcoming self-criticism, externalizing self-blame, enhancing relationships, owning their authority, & improving the quality of life.
