I help adults work toward their specific mental health goals, with initial focus on working to understand your experience of the world to the present. Together, we can then build on your strengths and develop new skills to adapt to your current situation. I have extensive experience working with graduate students and professionals coping with stress and occupational transitions. I particularly enjoy working with people who can be too hard on themselves to embrace their strengths and understand further their growth edges, such that they can adapt better to various roles in their personal and professional lives.
I specialize in depression, anxiety, sleep issues, autoimmune/health issues, academic/career stressors, racial identity, religious trauma, identifying emotions, and PTSD. As a biracial person of color (Seneca/Haudenosaunee) with autoimmune disorders, I have experience in some of these areas beyond formal training.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, working on my (always slightly broken) classic car, reading, lifting/running, and spending time with friends and family.
