Are you having difficulty managing school and life at the same time? Perhaps you have difficulty with learning issues or a disability that impacts your ability to focus or get everything done. Do you struggle with social anxiety or long for better relationship dynamics in your life? My goal is to help you figure out solutions and strategies so you can have the skills to manage life challenges with ease.

I've done extensive work with students as a school-based therapist and former counselor in disability services at CSU Channel Islands. I know students often struggle with anxiety, depression, and the overwhelm of the many academic and life skill tasks that are needed to successfully make it through to graduation. I can work with you on finding solutions for school-based challenges as well as guiding you through the process of improving mental health concerns.

My counseling style is warm, empathetic, honest, and direct. You can expect it to be goal-oriented with plenty of space for processing emotions. We will work together to facilitate positive change in school, life, and relationships. I use a holistic approach, knowing that people learn and grow in different ways. We start with Solution Focused Counseling to help you get your bearings with any current life stressors, then we work on healing areas that are out of balance.
